I’m Aria. I make alternative rock because it’s the only place I’ve ever been able to say things straight.

I grew up living inside music. Loud bands, burned CDs, songs on repeat until they meant something different. Those records didn’t fix anything, but they made it survivable. That mattered. At some point I realized I wanted to make music that did the same thing. Not comfort. Just clarity.

Most of what I write comes from real moments. Things that went wrong. Things I didn’t say fast enough. Things that stayed in my head longer than they should have. I’m not interested in cleaning any of it up. The mess is the point.

Dressed to Spill and Everyone But Me were the first releases where I stopped trying to shape the songs into something acceptable. I said what I meant, left the rough edges in, and let the tracks be what they were. That shift changed everything.

I’m not chasing mystery or distance. I’m here to make music that hits where it’s supposed to. If you hear yourself in it, that’s enough.

If you’re into loud guitars, sharp lyrics, and songs that don’t pretend, you’ll probably get it.
